This course covers the high school Geometry and Algebra 2 in one year, i.e. FUSD 9th grade accelerated math pathway curriculum. Students learn sequence and series, polynomials, and analyze complex configurations that help them build a solid foundation in calculus.
Geometry class covers reasoning and proofs, transformations, congruence, similarity, right triangles and trigonometry, expressing geometric properties with equations, geometric measurement and dimension, statistics and probability. Algebra 2 covers polynomials and rational expressions, functions and graphing, linear, quadratic, and exponential functions and their respective inverse functions.
Prerequisite
Completed Algebra 1 class or passed an assessment
New or non-current students are required to complete an evaluation before enrollment.
